:fangirl: :fangirl: It's been very hot weather here past few days. Yesterday and today, temps in the 90's and humid. We are getting July/August weather in May. Don't expect much brooding today. Cold front moving in tonight and things will get back to normal with temps in the upper 60's, low 70's over the weekend and into next week.

First hatch for Union expected around Thurs, May 25.
First hatch for Jersey City expected around Sat, May 27.

Cadence seems a bit restless on the eggs today. She's shifting, sitting high at times, and keeps looking down. Wonder if she is feeling or hearing something. :15heartbeat: I'll be at work all week and won't be able to watch the cam, but you may want to keep your eyes peeled.

Hi Carly! I had figured May 25th (Thursday), give or take a day as being 33 days from her 1st egg. If something happens much sooner, it could be one of Mom's eggs, which would be very nice indeed.

So I've been procrastinating from what I really need to be doing today and have had the cam up at Union. Cadence & Dad seem to be a bit fidgety today. Weather says 60, which isn't hot and it was raining a little earlier. Dad did some housekeeping. I'm not seeing really tight incubation. Dad was venting his back feathers & so was Cadence.

Really hoping for a positive outcome here.

Something might be going on at Union.

Cadence was on eggs, cam froze, then no parent on eggs. Then I saw a flutter on outside cam.

If I didn't know better, I would wonder if there was an intruder on building based on the way the wings looked almost like a prey transfer,but then I would expect Dad to come to eggs.

And Dad just came in.

He's talking and alert. On eggs, but more like covering loosely.

Well...its hard to tell....I keep getting the "stream is corrupted" message..and then it resets.
