Hi Rosek...yes, they have. SGB has caught them in the act twice. I suspect more is going on off the ledge that we don't see. To be truthful, we are not late this season. It appears that some sites are early. For 2013, 2014, and 2015 Durand laid her 1st egg on 3/19. Last year, was the earliest for her on 3/12. So, all is on schedule. An egg could come any day now.

and Harrisburg just laid their first egg early morning or middle of the night...I think what's throwing us off is Canton is very early this year...

Someone perched on the nest cam again tonight. Probably Durand. She's been staying close to the nest. It sounds very windy on the ledge.

Somebody munching down on prey near the ledge cam...They stopped mid- munch and watched something. Kinda funny -still has a beak full, and still watching...........And still watching. It's like it has forgotten all about eating...Now it's working its beak as if the prey were sticky. Picked up the prey and flew....one, two falcons return and a CANOODLE!!!!!! Aries flew off, Durand is still near the nestbox.

Someone perched on the nest cam this evening. Betcha it's Ms. Durand. Sound is off and the website indicates that they are having audio difficulties.

6:55 am -Empty ledge...no egg...no sound.

7:07 am - I spoke too soon. Just switched back to the cam to find Durand in the box bowing and Aries on the ledge. Don't know if I missed a bonding session. Aries leavest, Durand then worked on the far scrape and is now perched on the ledge. It's tough without the sound...it usually alerts me to run to my computer from another room...lol. 8:17 and someone has just landed.

From Donna: Audio will be off at least through the weekend. It appears that something with the audio (sound card, mixer) is interfering with the stream....Its all way over my head!!

At least we have both cams. Fingers crossed it stays that way!!

they've been bopping on/off the ledge all day. They need to stop playing around and lay some eggs!!

I just passed through downtown on my way home from work. One on the nest ledge near the nest cam- I'm guessing Durand- and the other on the next ledge to the right. Both just staring out over the city, supervising rush hour. It got pretty windy this afternoon so maybe they are taking it easy until the winds die down. Was hoping to see one of them go after the pigeons that keep taunting them by flying across capital square :hapdance:
