She is smack in front of the window of the NEWS studio,
so she can see all that activity in there
I saw a man at her window - he was between cam and window
There appears to be quite a space between cam and window

I use the livestream cam - I can make it very small for a corner of my monitor

Monarch Place falcon chick found dead in downtown Springfield; 3 others remain in nest
David Ward said there were four eggs in the nest, and three of them hatched over the last week. The fourth hatched Friday morning.

One of the three earlier ones died earlier in the week, presumably of natural causes, he said.
He was notified by Monarch Place staff that the body of the dead hatchling was found on the sidewalk below the nest.

He said it is believed the baby bird died in the nest, and the parents discarded the remains.
The hatchling was likely too small to climb out of the next on its own, he said.
The falcons have been nesting on the 21st floor of Monarch Place since 1989. Over that time, the birds have produced more than 30 offspring.

Seems 2016 has been tough on falcons.
I have heard experts bringing birds back from the brink of extinction talk about the *DNA pool being very small. I have read some geneology of various species and it talks of health breaking down after generations.

My speculation would be - bring in DNA in one form or another - from other nations falcons to strengthen the DNA of American birds.
