thanks Catwoman and mwplay....still so heartbreaking...I wish they would have had the choice (or permission) to keep her during banding. The outcome may have been the same, but she may have been more comfortable in her passing.. Bittersweet for Mom and Dad...at least they could give comfort until the end..that's what parents do..and it was so touching for us human viewers. |

I too thank you Arjen. While I can't watch the videos, I am grateful that you made a record of what has happened here, AGAIN. I am so sorry that they allowed her to suffer for so long and caused such great distress for Clara and FC. It's a shame that such uncaring or uninformed people are in charge of making life and death decisions for these little birds. Whatever they call it is up to them, but I call it cruel. San Jose was my first falcon nest and I fell in love with Clara and was totally fascinated by the entire falcon family. It just didn't occur to me, at the time, that if they needed help, no one would be there for them. I've had enough of this kind of thinking. Sorry, needed to say that. |
