Have been out most of the afternoon. Happy to see that the first cam that had been going dark now seems to be working. Little Dad is on the eggs on this gorgeous evening in Central PA.

Niecey is really panting in the warm sun, and right now is standing over the eggs. I've not been watching constantly, but I've not seen Little Dad yet this morning.

Little Dad is all spread eagle over by the column while Niecey is in the scrape. It is unseasonably warm here today. About 80 degrees at noon.

Glad you were able to get that picture, ljames. I thought the same thing too at first. Little Dad is on the eggs now and mercifully in the shade.

Cutie pie Lil' Dad on the point, Beautiful Niecey in the nest. She looks hot, poor dear. It's pretty late to still be hot. I'll need to check the temps.

Niecey gets up and fusses (I didn't have the volume on to be sure) Lil' Dad is probably gone to do what she told him. :egg13:

Later, Lil' Dad is eating away on the point before he calls to Niecey . She seems uninterested so he take the leftovers away. Maybe she is waiting for a hatch.

Thanks for the picture, Reenie. I missed seeing the eggs this morning, but Little Dad is there now while Niecey is preening on the point. The first view has been zoomed in more on the scrape. Red Girl in Wilmington laid her eggs sooner than Niecey, so that should be some indication of when hatching will happen here. Looked in at Red Girl a few minutes ago, and she's sitting calmly on her five eggs. And in the time it took me to type this, the cams are not working for me again. :-( And the cam problem was a computer problem here. All corrected now.

Missed seeing Niecey return to the eggs. All cams seem to be fine again. I post when I'm having trouble so that others might see that they're not the only ones. Certainly not complaining, as I know the folks that work in there have things to do besides fooling with the cams.

Lil' Dad out, Niecey in for the night, I guess. I did see the eggs earlier from 2 cams but couldn't see anything . But Niecey has gotten off the eggs a couple of times kinda wandering around as they often do before a hatch. Pray they survived the cold.

Just saw Little Dad getting settled on the eggs. I do think it's a little too soon for any hatching, but the time is getting close. There's a cam on a pair of Bald Eagles near Gettysburg, and those eagles endured similar conditions as our falcons. They have been the proud parents of two scrapping eaglets for three weeks.

Have been out a lot this morning, but just had a peek at Red Girl's new arrival. Hope the same will be happening in Harrisburg soon. Niecey is on the eggs and Little Dad on the point.
