I have this cam up iwith mine. not saying i wil see something before others. I am always one short LOL

She must be related to Durand....she moved them there!!! hahahahaha...unfortunately, during "the move", I saw no obvious pips...come on eggs..at least 1 of you needs to hatch!!

I haven't been able to watch much lately, but this cam now has sound...woo hoo! And guess what? I hear occasional egg tapping and definite chirping from one egg with the shuffle. :ohyes:

First hatch is on the way and right on schedule....33 days from 3rd egg laid would be tomorrow, 5/27. Perfect timing!

Actually, they are a tad behind schedule (which is no big deal), but eggs usually start hatching 30-33 days from first egg lay date. If you check the nesting calendar, its uncanny how first hatch averages 30-31 days from last lay date..

I calculate the way Donna does, which is on average 33 days from the 3rd egg laid since full incubation does not usually begin until then, which goes hand in hand with embryo development. So far, I have found that method to be pretty accurate give or take a day.

Yep...pretty accurate too...that's how I keep up with hatch watch!! When I see that last egg lay date, I know I better start watching the cam!!

Beth and I couldn't keep up with it all without everybody's help posting under "Breaking News"!!

Union County
Caught a switch with Cadence coming in to relieve Dad. I don't see anything going on with the eggs.

11:13 am - The eggs after Dad leaves.

11:27 am - Cadence comes in, but was hot and just stood over the eggs.

12:54 pm - Dad comes in to relieve Cady. Seems like he has been incubating forever. He is very tight on the eggs and hatching does not appear imminent. Poor guy.

Jersey City
Lots of shuffling and re-positioning going on. Very hard to hear with the street noise and airplanes flying over head. Hard to get a good view of the eggs...they are never fully uncovered. Whoever is on the eggs has a blood stain on the right breast. Hoping it's from a messy meal.

11:17 am - Shuffling and never giving a good look at all the eggs.

Getting into some contortions...up against the back wall while shifting. Bloody spot on the right breast.

11:30 am - Bloody spot from another angle.
