Thanks Ingrid, I've seen them fly by too. Hope they get some food in there.

Photobucket has sure been slow, here's one when the chick ventured out. Looks to be back in the box.

Thanks Terka! I see food in there. Hopefully they can feed themselves.

Whichever adult is there now brought food, but could not figure out how to get it in. The chicks were frantic, which I'm sure is not helping. The bigger one is self feeding, they are fighting over the piece in there now.

I have photos but photobucket is not cooperating

If DGIF thought I did not feed the birds in my care for a whole day (or provide food), they would likely cite me and take away my rehab permit. Hope one of the parents figures this out. A new female and a 17 yr old male, not sure about this. Especially on the hottest day of the year.

Just getting home and playing catch up...Oh barb..this has me really upset. You were afraid the cage would be too much for this new female...we gotta hope that Ozzie steps it up..if not, then I hope they will be willing to go up there and remove the cage...its not worth having starving and/or dehydrated babies..

I'll keep the cam up and hope I can catch a feed..

Where was the food you saw, because I'm not finding it..

Not looking good. Maybe they can remove the top of the cage? That way the parents can get to the chicks while they can't wander off.

Nothing...I've had the cam open all evening. This baby did some calling for a few minutes, then headed back to its sibling... :girlsad3: They are asleep now..

I hope tomorrow's better..

I'm having internet issues again, so I don't know what came before or after these pics...I'm not quite sure who this is either...I don't think it was a feed, but just a parent check in..

Doesn't matter how many years I have been looking at this cage, I still can't get used to it...I wonder if they left quail in there for the kids...just in case...

Was watching the cam. Raining right now, one in the nest and one enjoying the rain. As well as these two are doing I don't think they will jeprodize anything happening to these two. As smart as falcons are I'm sure the new mom will figure out what to do. I know it's hard for us but no matter how many times we see this cage we know under the circumstances this is best. I never watched this site before but when I started I learned a lot about it. As always safety first. :loveheart:

Thanks Heida...I sure hope you're right...

They've been panning the cam...I'm guessing looking for a parent? they didn't find one. I would have hoped to see one on top of the box, but nope...

I've been trying to check throughout the day. I sure hope these guys have had more than that 1 feed from this morning...I'm sure they are keeping an eye on them

1 chick still standing in the ran, the other in the box. Oh wait, its ventured out...looks like the rain may have stopped...

A few pics..

Enjoying the rain

Image

After they panned, they zoomed. Either the kids were yelling at the moving cam or maybe there was a parent behind the cam?

Coming out after the rain had stopped..
