all 4 can hoop the baby gate now. Yellow is only one in sight right now. We are doing a mini watch here now, as we have 3 females.

oldest is 33 days old today and youngest is 32 days old.

Peter and i did stop by a few days ago and saw ll 4 outside box. the adults were soaring and doing flights around the box. I thought , oh not yet guys :egg11:

pictures coming

Good Morning
I woke up like any other start of a fledge. LOL Before the sun and way to early. But, like any normal person would have put new batteries in her alarm clock for it would wake me up on time. But, not me , I am stubborn and decide to wake up to a crow scream out the window at 4:20am this morning. My day is started.
Off I went racing along the hiway and off came the dead tree in the back of the truck that I was going to throw away at work. Stop the truck and walk back and not get hit by cars. Who do I think I am a bird. I could not wait to start my shift up the ramp , around and around I go to get to the top of the parkade. WAIT, wake up you are going to Weber :teehee: Different kind of noise hear. All you can slowly hear the traffic coming towards you as it whines along the busy corridor of Calgary Trail. I look up and I first see an adult that look like it is hanging onto the ledge 2 stories down in the corner. Up high of the nest boxes is green Girl on the antenna. And slow one by one , three heads appear on the corner. Hmmmmmm
I sit watching them move around abit. But, where is the forth one. It is a large bulding roof and it could be anywhere. I scan all the buildings for the second time in the area and out of the corner of my eye, I see a white feather floating down at the other end of the parkade. Keep your eyes on the girls, they are the chubby chicks. But , I had to look and spotted a bird on the lower parkade railing. Out comes the second pair of eyes and low and behold that it is a falcon chick. Oh, no was my first thought to come out to watch and forgot the phone and rescue box to boot.
The only smart thing to do is run to the Ramada and phone. I know that Bev was putting a sign up with phone numbers. I am not in the greatest shape, across the four lanes of traffic I ran and out of breathe when I walked in. Pointed to the poster on the desk and phoned Bev. I think the 2 men thought I was crazy, but what do they know. Peter was just leaving and would be there soon.
Peter arrived and then he was scoped to be White. Then he started to catwalk along the ledge. Parents were not happy with us standing there watching. It was ok if you just walked by, Peter went to sit in his truck and off to work I had to go.
Stay save little guy.

Well, I finally have the new camera in my hot little hands-and after some exploratory surgery on the electrical box, I have learned that the power supply to the camera I have now (24v) wont work with the brand new camera (12V). So, I am buying a new power supply. However, while I was up at the nest anyway, I snuck a few pics to send to Bev, and Gord. I have three healthy chicks in the nest, and I am fairly sure I need to band them SOON. Like, tomorrow!

What a morning. With the sun shining on my face warming it up after driving with the air conditioner on. Ok. I am ready for what ever comes my way. White has been rescued last night and will go out to Pembina to get hacked. :gaaaaah: . I like seeing the boys fly, they are show offs. When I got to the site, only Green Girl and dad where in plain sight. After a bit out came two flapping chicks onto the ledge and do the catwalk across it. Dad went for a fly around the building and of course the choir sang. Out on the roof you could here the 3 chick. After that they were all laying on the ledge. 2 of the girls like to be near each other and stayed put. But, the other one was jumping and flapping giving us a bit of heart failure. Has pretty good upper wing strength already. It was nice having Adien there with me watching. I did a good walk around the area and the dead birds and parts are everywhere. Well that is all for today. boring but I will take that kind of morning.
