things are coming along nicely. at times we see them a little agitated. could be hawks etc.

It will be interesting to see how our new female does with chicks. this is such a nice site to watch.

we have 2 hatches here now

will not be around much today, but these hatches were about 4 hours apart.

think she is new mom as she did from a far distance, try and feed first chick before it was completely dry. then pulled wing under her, and as you can see in Terkas video, not quite sure what to do. thank goodness wing is outside her now

so I think one hatch around 4:40am and one around 8:13 or so. we see a bit of shell adn when we see shell, chick must be born, they just do not show us right away. some show the hatch, some do not. ours rarely do

University of Alberta - this mama was pebble picking and stretched all the way across the box. So funny to watch but actually I think she didn't want to get up and off her chick......
