 Both chicks are very active in the box and on the ledge. Each day they have preened more of their down. Lots of wing flapping as well. Parent dropped off some prey, which one grabbed and headed for a corner.

| It must be hot up there in the nest box, both chicks are panting. Theyve been taking turns perching-on the lip of the nestbox.

| WOW- almost all the down is gone. The two incredible hulks are on the lip of the nestbox getting themselves psyched up for fledge.....2 girls? Edit- Well, shucks- while I was posting one of them fledged! The remaining baby is yelling it’s head off, mostly looking down....Oh, dancing side to side,flapping her wings. She jumped out on a perch, flapping. Then jumped back in the box, still flapping well there’s a fledgling on a perch? Is there a perch that is not visible from the cam? So one is still on the ledge and the other is exploring?

| One juvie in view out on a perch. I can’t see the other one, but it may be out of view on another perch area....I jusT saw the cam person panning the camera up and down, looking for the other juvie too...

| There must be additional perches that are out of view, or perhaps even a walk way off to our right. At 6:30 their time the juvies were together on the ledge. Then suddenly one jumped off to the right and the other jumped forward onto a lower perch, and out of sight.....

| Using the rewind, I believe I saw a purposeful thrust off a perch into the wild blue, with a parent in pursuit. One juvie is currently on the ledge...

| The fledglings seem quite active, appearing on the perches throughout the day, and sleeping on the perches at night.

| A banded falcon is at the Veolia nest box. I’m assuming it is Dana in her new adult plumage- heavy dark bars on her tummy and dark speckles on her chest....

Veolia has gone live with a peculiar view of the ledge and nestbox floor...Maybe they expect eggs soon? Edit -The cam has been moved up so we can see the peregrines on the ledge... |
