The cams are not even opening now. At least earlier, they would open and then immediately freeze. Niecey must have been preparing the food when Lil' Dad was there. Well I'll be back later, but THREE chicks.

Was hoping maybe the cams would become functional again, but unfortunately they're not. It's possible we'll have to wait until Monday when somebody is back in there. For the record, it's a sunny day in Harrisburg with temps in the low 50s.

Just had a good look at all3 when they switched places. Niecey back on the kids.Lil Dad didn't have them covered, but still takes great care of them. :loveshow: :loveshow: :loveshow:

Yes I've been watching the feeding too. I'd forgotten how stressful it is to look for the smallest to get bites, but it did. Lil' Dad was on the stick the entire time. Niecey took the leftovers away and Lil' Dad is with the Chicks. He's so precious. I took a few pics.

Lil Dad brings prey but I can't get that camera to work, anyway, Niecey comes back with it as he is on the chicks, she feeds, then he comes back to be with them. She must be taking a little break to eat . Here she comes back.

Thanks for the pictures, ljames. That one of Niecey parked outside the scrape is a hoot! A little while ago she stood up to give a good view of the three chicks and the unhatched egg. Couldn't see anything that looked like a pip on that egg. Time will tell.

There was a feeding about five minutes ago. It was hard to tell which chick got what, as Niecey was blocking both views of the scrape. Couldn't see the 4th egg at all, as I think it's in the middle of the chicks. Niecey took the remains of the meal out of the scrape, and Little Dad must have taken it from her, as he was on the point finishing it off.

Just watched a feeding, and this time Niecey was standing so that the chicks could be seen. She was very careful to see that each chick was fed. The 4th egg was visible, but really couldn't tell much about it. Very nice weather here today. As of noon it's sunny and about 60 degrees.
