Thanks for the pictures, Nancy. I wondered if that was White. One of his sisters has joined him. Both lounging at the orange post. What spectacular weather today. :-) |

One juvie just pancaked on the ledge. Looks like one of the boys. |

Pretty sure there are two juvies on the U Building's roof right now. In the corner above the silver pole. |

That was Blue on the shield, Nancy. Red is there with her now. Red pancaked in the scrape, Blue standing next to her. |

Tuned in a bit ago to find Niecey and Little Dad having a bonding session in the scrape. He hightailed it outta there, but she's still in the scrape. |

Two there now. One on the point and one was being fed by parent, I believe Lil Dad and Niecey on the stick. I can't remember how long its been that the kids hung around so long. Usually they are gone by now, but these kids must love it here. Very nice to be able to still see them. |

The juvies should be in the area until at least July, Heida. They have a lot to learn from the adults. Interesting that one was being fed by an adult. Don't see anyone around right now, and there are some storms that are going to pass through our area later tonight. |

I know they are around til July. but it just seems like we don't see all four on the ledge as much as we have seen these guys. |

I've not seen a juvie on the ledge today, but I THINK it's Niecey on the shield right now. |

Am seeing two totally zonked juvies on the ledge behind the orange post, and one preening on the point. Planning on meeting some friends after dinner tonight for some falcon watching. |

Thanks for the great pictures from yesterday afternoon, ljames. We arrived downtown around 6:30 last night. We found Yellow (I think) on the 11th floor ledge, finishing off some food. Red (I think) was on the stick. Eventually Yellow flew over to Forum Place, and Blue (?) took off to somewhere after spending some time on the ledge. Red had a short nap, and then flew over to the U roof. It is confusing about which bird went where, but at one point one of the girls landed under the railing over at the U. She took off, and then we didn't know where any of them got to. Somewhere around 8:30 three juvies came flying down Market Street. To the best of my memory, one landed on the roof of the Carson Building, and two on the railing of the balcony above the nest ledge. Then they flew down 4th Street to wherever they go for the night. Maybe on the Carson roof or over at Strawberry Square. We saw Niecey briefly on the window sill right around the corner from the nest ledge. Am certain we saw three different juvies, but we maybe saw four, not knowing if we saw the same boy twice or not. We did not see Little Dad at all, so we don't know where he was. Niecey was on the point when I first tuned in this morning, but she's gone now. |

A juvie has been on the ledge for about an hour. Sometimes pancaked, sometimes standing. Niecey is on the shield right now, as the juvie naps. Two more days of pleasant weather are in store for our area before it is to get VERY hot and humid. |

This my favorite site, outside of my own falcons. I love that you all come here, and tell us what they are doing, and how flight school is going. Thank you dedicated fans. |

Trying to figure out which juvie is on the point now, but I think it's Blue. Red had been there a little while ago, making short work of some food on the ledge. She seems to have mastered defeathering her prey. And thanks to AC for the kind words in an email I received. My email account has recently been hacked, and I am still hesitant about opening messages from people I don't know. |
