Both are there now!! Edit to Add: He left from inside the nestbox @ 11:35. He had been calling to her, but she would not budge from atop the box, although she did change her position from front-view to side-view.

She flew off @ 11:53! Richmond is following as after each falcon's exit, they have pulled back cam to check if they are landing elsewhere in view, but to no avail.

So I'm going out on a limb and saying this male is not the male that have on the DGIF website. This bird has a silver federal band. The female is above on the box. I am hoping this is Ozzie, it looks like him. He has black/red band, I can't see that.

Well I guess his band is dirty now, no longer shiny green. A young boy, hopefully he stays around. I get all the calls from Dominion biologists for injured/orphaned birds and got a too young to fly kestrel from Possum Point last year.

She just left from the roof. I watched her for a few minutes prior, surprisingly she was in full view. I'm glad her chest is so buffy as it makes id so much easier, even if you only see a sliver of it @ times when she is atop the roof.
