I missed seeing Little Dad around 7:30. I think his night roost is somewhere a bit beyond the U Building and to the right. But I've never been able to figure out where he goes when I'm down there.

Interesting, because I've tried to catch him flying past the stick and beyond going down the street toward the U, when he leaves the point and I have never been able to do so. I have never seen him anywhere in the field of vision of the stick cam, once he leaves the point for the final time at night. I thought he was flying across Market street to a building and staying either on the left side or behind somewhere on that building. Somewhere that he would be close enough to hear any distress calls from Niecey and could get there if needed. Maybe 333 Market Street ...

I missed the exchange and by 6:40 EDT, Niecey is on the point preening and Lil Dad is lying on the eggs. Then a few minutes later, I heard a shuffling noise while I was watching Lil Dad on the nest cam, that seemed to come just outside the nest. Lil Dad heard the noise also and immediately got up and flew. I did not see any changes on the eggs. Checking all of the other cams, I don't find Niecey (who I think had probably made her way from the point to the stick or near the nest, unbeknownst to me and made the shuffling noise as she left) on any of the cams. Lil Dad eventually showed up on the point staying a couple minutes or so, before returning to the eggs. By 7:12, Niecey has obviously returned from the sounds of her cries and Lil Dad's responses, however I can't find her on cam and I suspect she is atop one of them. At 7:52, Lil Dad leaves the nest after cries are heard and Niecey steps in and positions herself over the eggs. Later, I do not find him on any of the cams as I leave.

Eggs were unattended when I first tuned in, but Niecey came in shortly afterwards. Don't see Little Dad anywhere. The night roost used to be on louver ledges behind 333 Market, the tall building that can be seen on the left side of the stick view cam. I've not been downtown toward evening in a while, but the last I knew the night roost was over somewhere behind the U Building. There are all kinds of places where it could be.

Thanks, Jane! Just came in and caught a nest exchange with Lil Dad leaving the box and going to the stick initially, then to the point. Niecey arrives to the nest and lies on the eggs, while Lil Dad flies from the point within a minute or so.

Just saw a canoodle on the stick. Niecey went into the scrape about 30 seconds later, and Little Dad is on the point preening.

:flirty: Have been watching for about 4 hours ... for the most part ... especially Niecey in the nest. Lil Dad was on the point from when I started, until a little past 8:00 EDT, when he flew for the night, with the exception of his departure at about 7:20 for a short while. Mainly he preened with the occasional call to Niecey. She never left the nest in this 4 hour period. She seems to have settled now, but she was kinda busy on the eggs earlier this eve as she seemed to change positions more frequently, she messed with the pebbles in front of her several times to the point of leaving 2 nearly dug out areas, but the most interesting thing to me is when she would stand over the eggs and groom herself. She payed particular attention to her chest and abdomen (it was hard to tell as she usually had her back to me, but that is what it looked like when I switched to the stick cam) and she stood and repeated this several times, while I was there. She would look down at her eggs at some point either before or during this grooming, also. To me these are some changes in her behavior from previous. I was only able to see parts of some of the eggs tonight and I did not notice any changes.

Lil Dad was already on the eggs when I came in at 6:33 EDT and I did not see Niecey on any of the cams. At 7:04, Niecey has just arrived to the point with her back to us and is cleaning her beak against the corner of it. By 7:41, Niecey has already left the point quietly and I am unsure of when. By 8:15, she is back and Lil Dad got off the eggs and after a long look, there are not any changes in them from this view. Niecey came in and got on the eggs and Lil Dad flew. Lil Dad has been back to the point for several minutes by 8:50. Will have limited viewing time for 1st half of today. As I leave at 9:27, only Niecey is seen on cam in the nest.

Thanks, Terka! Obviously no hatch will come from here today!! Niecey has just arrived to the point and Lil Dad is on the eggs and acknowledging her with his cries!

Little Dad left the point for the night roost about two minutes ago.

By 5:55 EDT, Lil Dad is already lying in the nest and I do not find Niecey on any of the cams. Then about 45 minutes later, I noticed she is preening and stretching on the point. I did not hear when she came in. She flew a little before 6:50. I missed the 2nd exchange also and found Lil Dad on the point at 7:50 with Niecey lying on the eggs as I leave.

Niecey has been on the eggs since I first tuned in about half an hour ago. Little Dad had been on the point, but he flew off. I do believe that the point view cam has been "decorated" by one of the falcons. I noticed a spot yesterday, but this morning I can see it's white. Fortunately it's not obstructing the view.

Niecey came in for the night shift a few minutes ago. Little Dad went to the point briefly before heading to the night roost. It's been raining lightly here for a couple hours.

Coming in really late this morning at 7:10 EDT, I found Lil Dad re-positioning himself over the eggs and Niecey was on the stick looking around. By 7:29, she's doing her morning stretches starting with the right wing and leg, then she fans out the tail, left wing and leg, and finally it's the above head bilateral wing stretch! :teehee: I love seeing Niecey do her stretches ... it actually went in that order! The nest exchange was at 7:40, but I had trouble getting to the nest cam and missed the chance to see the eggs. Lil Dad flew to the point where he remains at 7:48 as I leave.
