They ate everything down to the green band.

Parent ate both feet, thought she would down the band too, but it dropped off.

Dan's waiting with the kids for Val to come back. Big chick talks with his dad in the second picture, and little one talks to his dad in the third one. By the way, he's catching up in size. Maybe we have all girls or all boys. :loveshow:

Thanks for the pictures and videos bev. It's always so traumatic to see banding, although, I couldn't help but laugh seeing that little one running back to the others for safety with the people right behind him.

I have attended many bindings but when done quickly, and gently , as this one was and ours are , the chicks are fine..It is the parents that are stressed. That is why I cringe when chicks are passed around and they they do a whole lesson around it. The parents especially are more stressed. Although I understand thei reasoning behind their whys, I always think og the birds first
