BOWLING GREEN & TOLEDO 2020, 2021 and 2022

4 eggs for Toledo (4 dark, 1 light). I couldn't get a capture. Mom let me count the eggs, but she was immediately back on them.

Some one with good band reading skills needs to be checking Bowling Green. Just now I found what I thought to be a female waddling around the nesting area, She had a black/blue band, which I see last years female was black/ red. Aha! I see SGB and Beth have been working on this…. They are seeing black and blue, and 55 :attention:

Yes, Catwoman - I think some of these guys don’t sleep much…..

Tsusan, well I've worked with the capture, and I can't tell what color the band even is. I'll watch for her and maybe zoom in the next time.

Well, like I said, Beth and SGB say it’s black/ blue and 55 (so far) but guess what - the unbanded tiercel just came in and coaxed “55” to bond with him (he was quite enthusiastic) He kept it up for a minute or so and then scrambled out of the nest box area…maybe we will hear the pitter patter of little talons before too long :hapdance:

They seem to be visiting the box more...so, fingers crossed for eggs.
For the life of me, I just cannot read the bottom part of that band.

From the Toledo site on FB, there is concern there are 5 eggs, cause the white egg is in the mix of eggs and is being incubated. Toledo site: "Here’s the clutch, during the latest change-over. Looks like the white egg has been fully accepted."
