Just click on the individual photo to enlarge.

They had 13,500 entries from 63 countries this year. My favorites are "Welfare" and "Camouflage" from the "Best Portfolio Award Winner"! What are yours? :dancegirl:

A potential new home for falcons
MARQUETTE, MICH (WJMN) — If you see a strange box on the top of the Landmark Inn they aren’t adding new rooms unless you count falcons as future guests.

Beloved Manayunk peregrine falcon dies; questions raised over cause of death
43/ac or 45/ac B/G

His name is Manny, a 10-year-old peregrine falcon.
Last week, Judy got word that Manny suffered a severe injury and had died.

He was taken to a nearby wildlife center after being found in a yard.

"The leg had been severed above the foot," she said.

Her belief is that drone may have come too close.
