I wish we had a thread where all of the beautiful banners were kept. Then we could go back and look at them. Love this Valentine's Day banner! And the hearts background. A lot of work went into making this forum look so beautiful. Thank you so much.

beans - That's a great idea . . . I love the Valentine's banner and theme, and I also loved the Christmas/Winter banner and theme. We can thank skygirlblue for making them happen!

Any chance of having a Hawks Forum? There are two cams with Red-tailed Hawks, one in Portland, Oregon (online now) and one in Tulsa, Oklahoma (online soon).

Hi all - just read your posts here and wanted to add I was also looking for the Portland rth cam in the forum index. This is a beautiful cam, they zoom in when the chicks are hatched, and it was so beautiful last year watching them...I fell in love with rth's because of it! :beathrt: New cam page this year, and I also wanted to ask you if you see a site where they have their blog? There used to always be a link on the cam page but I haven't seen one yet. We are approaching the time for the parents to start returning to the fire escape and check the nest. Would love to follow here also. Could you post any info on blog you find, or PM me? I would greatly appreciate it. I just love those cotton balls when they hatch! :arrhrt: :arrhrt: THANKS SO MUCH YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST, as always! :hearts: :hearts:

Dina, there is not an organized location for looking up bands on this forum, although if someone had once mentioned it in a post and then subsequently someone did a "search" on our forum for that number, it could be found. Not really what you are looking for, though, is it?

It would be a really nice resource, but would be a tremendous undertaking by someone. Are you volunteering?

Well I'll tell you what if someone does do it I can help as much as possible but I couldn't do it all plus I would need alot of direction on what I'd need to do
So keep me in mind

Hi Dina...I'm afraid I have the same answer as Susan...we don't have anything organized here on this forum....We could encourage viewers to post non-resident birds/bands when they are seen on individual cams under "Breaking News", then we could use one of the bandlook websites to see if we could identify that bird..I'm wondering if obxbarb, Libby, Carly, etc. might know of other band lookup websites...the only one I've ever had any luck with is:

http://www.raptorresource.org/falcons.php

..and I've got one more...but I can't find the link...I'll keep looking..
