In honor of our dear friend, Froona, we invite you to gather here to share your love and your fondest memories of her in any way that you wish, whether it be by your stories of how you “met” her or how she touched your life, changed your life, or by a beautiful piece of art that reminds you of her. Please share it with us here.

To light a candle in her memory, please follow this falcon:

HOERA HOERA, Boris is geplaatst voor mijn vakantie werd ik al gebeld door mensen uit het zuiden bes lands, ze kwamen op vakantie in Friesland en hadden veel belangstelling voor Boris. na de vakantie hebben ze hem opgehaald.
laten we hopen dat het goed gaat met hem.
Nandi en Floris hebben het enorm naar hun zin, we hebben al foto's ontvangen.
Nu Shamira nog waar het overigens erg goed mee gaat.

Hurray, Hurray, Boris has been adopted. Before I went on vacation I received a call from people from the south of the country. They were coming to Friesland for their vacation and were very interested in Boris. After my return they came to get him. Let's hope he will do great there.
Nandi and Floris( Shiamuzi) are enjoying themselves tremendously. We already got some pictures. That leaves Shamira to be adopted. She is doing very well by the way.
    Regards, Grietje

Thanks for that update, Dutch Eagle Fan. Here is one of Froona's pictures of both Samira (left) and Boris (right). He had lost his left front leg even before she adopted him, I believe.

That is such great news Ingrid!!! Froona talked about the pain of losing a leg that she shared with him, and I know her feelings were very strong for this special kitty.

Yes, that's correct. That is why she loved him so, she too lost a leg and could therefore relate to him in a very special way. (Her own words  )

Thanks for the great news of Boris' adoption, DEF! Even though they are treated well & have their needs taken care of at the shelter, a home with their own humans is the ultimate goal!

BCAW-Special rememberance for Froona *A Star in Heaven Shines On*

Message from DEF/Ingrid...

I will be putting the link to the Candle page for Froona on my forum and will ask for everybody to light many candles. I would very much like to see at least 365 candles burning at 9.15 pm (GMT+2), the time of her passing.
Eastern Standard Time-USA will be 3:15 pm on 4/4/10.

"...the day you received your wings..."

Thank you for that & also for yr idea to light 365 candles - could someone tell me what the EST time is right now so that I can better work out when I should go over & light a candle???
