A few updates from the rescued falcon, now with a falconer. Very interesting!

That is very interesting about how they can tell how old she was and more or less where she came from thanks for finding the update obxbarb

Thanks for the update, Barb! I also read the history of her care & they were very concerned for her health at the beginning of the year, but fortunately she has overcome whatever was wrong...

Thanks for posting that link, Barb...so very interesting...I would have never guessed she was that young (bless her heart)...and figuring out the subspecies..amazing...it is so evident that they are giving her great and thoughtful care...

Hello all. Thanks so much for your wonderful posts and updates, I am still trying to catch-up with all of the 2010 happenings and look forward to our falcons having a fruitful 2011.

After spending 10 months in Florida, we returned to Virginia and I am back in the same building, same position, on 14th & Broad Street (though not with the same falcon-friendly window view). Florida was a nice place to be, but the position there... well, not so much.

Chris has a new camera that he has been practicing with and we look forward to participating in Falcon Watch 2011!

A little late, but Happy New Year to all.

WOW! Welcome back Mike!!! What a nice surprise! Sorry it didn't work out in Florida, but I am thrilled to have you back. Are you back in your house too?

Have fun reading the events of last year. Fortunately, it was uneventful and a pleasure to watch the kids learn to fly.
