Check out Cat That Never Leaves Its Tree Has Found a Good Home - and Owner -

The same story appeared on Free Kibble site but they also included a video and other pictures that show his little tree kitty house that protects him from the elements.

Darned if I know HOW, but Buttons has somehow got up on top of the cupboards. he had to jump down on the fridge to get up. This is a 3 1/2 year old cat that never started jumping up on anything till recently. OH NO, More Button proofing. I should have grabbed my camera & taken a shot but I was so stunned to see him waaay up there & he looked like he was thinking. How do I get down I had to lift him down from the fridge

Hard to figure out what our babies are thinking sometimes, Pat! One of my boys got out when my husband left for work this morning. Its snowing & he decided pretty quick that it was a bad idea to go outside today. My husband had decided to let Johnny stay out until after he'd cleared the snow off his truck, but by then Johnny was so upset he was meowing at my neighbors' door wanting to get inside! When my husband came back to the door to let him in, he came running in the door & made a beeline upstairs. Guess he didn't want to be anywhere near that door after that!

Pat, my little cat Blue used to jump from the edge of the bathtub to the top of the bathroom door. The first time she did it she was only 5 months old- freaked me out.

Nancy, Johnny learned the 'be careful what you ask for' lesson today.

Thanks for the stories

PattiO - I loved seeing the pictures of your stray kitties. They all look so beautiful and healthy, which I'm sure is due to you and your care.

I'm with you in wanting to cuddle them and keep them warm! :loveheart2:

PattiO, you have quite the crew there. You have a good heart! :girlluv: I feed the barn kitties where we board the horse and thankfully they all have shelter in the barn. One actually sleeps with one of the dogs!!!

Cute kitties, PattiO. It is heartwarming to hear about those of you who feed the stray/feral cats. :girlluv:

These are such beautiful cats PattiO. With the weather you have been having, they would have suffered without your care. Many thanks from me :valhteye:

:girlluv: Awwww, that Freya is one gorgeous kitty. I love how you softened the edges around the last one. Perfect for framing.

Wonderful photos of Freya Ingrid. She is wonderful to look at. I bet she's a good cuddle!

And Beth, are they easy to catch? It's wonderful that you were able to do this. My three cats were born of a stray and while I don't think that the Mom was feral, she had been abandoned for quite some time and suffering from mites, worms etc. One of the kittens got stuck sideways in the canal and the Mom (or kittens) wouldn't have survived the birth. This is such a good thing that you do.
