Just saw on the evening news that "Liberty," the statue that has been sitting at the top of the Monument for 117 years (and where KathyQ sits so often) will be brought down for repairs sometime in late March or early April. Liberty won't be replaced until November!!

Dang! Where will KathyQ sit?

YIKES! Better, though to have it down and not interfering when the kiddos fledge. I hope they don't have tarps or anything like that flapping around up there. Thanks for the info Susan. I will have to try to watch it via the cam.

Rainy and dismal today here in Indy with a chill that goes right through you. I am off to bird rehab in a bit so my day will be nicely spent!

From Laura about the plexiglass replacement. It will be real glass so hopefully that will solve the scratchy problem. Anna works in Market Tower and often sees Kathy and Kinney from her office:

John and Amy are going up to the nest tomorrow (Wednesday)to replace the covering over the camera lens as you look into the nest box. In case you all are watching the cams, you might see weirdness going on. Plus I'm sure there will be lots of activity going on that we can't see : ) Maybe Anna will see the angry duo flying about.

I think it will be mid to late morning when this occurs. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
