Last question from Sept...I moved it here! I also sent the query & the LIVE webcam being down to her just after 8am Thursday!

Maybe someone can help on this
Allison is asking about a Falcon that has been spotted she is thinking the band might be S/?4
Here is a link to her question at manitoba maybe someone can get hold of Donna to find out anything

The only thing I could think to do was to search the banding reports that we have access to (WE Energies and Xcel) which I did yesterday, but didn't get any hits. It would be nice to see how the band numbers are determined--maybe according to State & area?

Reply from Donna after conferring with Dave...

Hi Joanne,

I heard back from Dave that S/34 is “not an Ohio bird and likely an eastern US bird based on the silver FWS band and B/G color band. There is no good central database for eastern US birds. It will have to be pursued through Indiana or The Raptor Center.”

Hope this helps!

Donna

Oh wow, I'm so glad you caught that, SGB! I had checked the ledge a bit ago and nothing. Maybe she is trying to lure a passerby into her home. ;)
