pefgirl over at RRP has some information about the nest I'm going now to invite her to come over

To those interested in Topeka, KS falcons:

I would like to report that there are two pairs of birds in the city-both from Nebraska. The folks that manage the Westar site are involved with putting up a second box to hopefully "deter" high levels of territoriality between the two pairs of birds. It may work, it may not...time will tell. As I get more information from the management team, I will be sure to share the information.
I am so hoping it is Doorly & Hope she's talking about

I'm also hoping Hope is still around. Doorly, while I hope nothing has happened to him, I would just as soon not see around any eggs or chicks.

...and I'm not sure I've actually seen a female do this....I remember that Froona said that sometimes they may "taste" the new egg...(as long as she doesn't eat it!!!)
