We need to get names for both of these birds! In an email from Laura, the female is not Star:
Gigi - wanted to tell you that the unbanded female at the nest right now isn't Star. Back in 2002 there was an unbanded female at this site but John and some other helpers were able to capture her and band her at that time. That bird was named Star but she is no longer around - no word on what happened to her. As skittish as Amy and John say this current female is, there is no chance to capture her.

Laura is referring to the female as Lady, which works for me. Two suggestions for the male were Boomerang and Jumping Jack Flash. According to SGB, both Boomer and Jack are names o birds from other nests. What about Lady and Flash..... If there is not a lot of comment or objection, that is what they will be....

I wouldn't think so since in their natural habitat the eggs are often on a uncovered cliff.
