:egg4: Ah, great news and pictures here! (And I can't believe they brought in food even before the first chick hatched. Talk about being prepared!)

You know its really an hour later, Don't know why they would be in a different time zone, so it's now 10:50 and the clock on the cam says 9:50 and so does post time. I'm pretty sure I saw a white ball in the back when the pink one was in the front.

He just brought in prey and she went to get it. I saw two chicks, couldn't take any pictures I was so transfixed about where she was stepping which was all over the chicks. I swear it's a miracle any of them live past the first day. She is feeding away, with her back to us hiding the chicks, but that one was wobbly and the other one didn't know he was out of the egg yet, looked like. :egg9:

I think Louie might have come in to be with the chicks, but I can't be sure.

Here's a picture

Four little beaks to fill :girlluv:

Does any of you recognise the prey? The underside of the wing is bright yellow.

Thanks, but somehow I think this bird is larger than the fly catcher. But I am not an expert on American birds

Could it have been an Oriole ? ? ?
    Orchard Oriole
    Hooded Oriole
    Bullock’s Oriole
    Altamira Oriole
    Baltimore Oriole
    Scott’s Oriole

That's okay... I live here and don't know much about birds. Luckily I can identify a scrub jay, crow, mockingbird and peregrine. I'm pretty pathetic besides that...

Maybe a Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker?

Would go along with those spots on the upper breast?
