Bird Cams Around the World

I have lots of not so good pictures s they did not turn light on till end. the parents were very upset.

I have to go out soon but i will see what i can do with the 2 that were jsut banded and put back. the one adult went right at the guy in suit.

I dis this very quickly as i have to go. There are 26 slides.
the adults were very aggressive. they used a net to put in front to put 2 chicks back. the other 2 are being banded elsewhere. I did not think the adults would let them put them back. I thought one chick fell at first and then saw one in each corner. sorry I could not click fast enough as there were 4 things to look at.

Hope someone gets the other 2

The mother has attacked the person who held the plank on the roof.

Reinstalling of the last 2 chicks was laborious:
14 floors to walk up because elevator broken, arrived at the top they realize they have the wrong key, re-descent of 7 floors before meeting the caretaker who provides the right key ... ^ ^

I am laughing because I have just spent the past 30 minutes editing my video and pulling pics that have already been posted....well, duh!!!! (in my defense, I was on the phone and I did answer a few pm's...I had no clue that anyone else was watching but you, Bev...)

He got it once after putting first tow in . He put up net as a defense.

I don't have the video from the other banding unfortunately so I'm happy I got your photos !! I am waiting for more photos from people who were present, and I will put them all in an album.... will post the link it when it's done.

Our bander Simon got hit twice by Spirit, she is a very fierce and agressive mommy ! When we put the first two back in the box, she was in there and would not move, Dr. David Bird (who did the capture), pushed her with his hand, and still she would not move!! Simon had to use the net to get her out.

Our four girls look ealthy. Dr Bird was actually unsure if they were all females, as one of them looked like she had smaller feet, but according to their weight we had no choice but to put all female bands. If it turns out that one is a male, we can change her name later

I had a few picutres in my slide of her in nest box when they returned.


It is hard for them but I always am happy when they are aggressive. I am sure that is not Simons first tag. I ws watcing the 4 frames and could only capture one at a time on slides.

The more I look at our girls and the more I think they might be "guys" ! I don't know I just have this feeling from the size of their feet.... And the weigths could really be both...... big guys or small girls.... Oh well we'll know soon enough if the names need to be changed or not ha ha ha!
