Richmond-area's forecast looks pretty good! Low 80s Monday through Thursday and mid-to-upper 80s Friday. Should be a nice week to fledge, and RichmondChris and I hope to make it downtown for fledge watch. Thursday is his last day of school, so we will do our best...

RichmondMike....it is soooooooooooooooooooo good to see you!!! I hope you and RC make it to fledge watch....I'm sure they will really welcome 2 more pairs of eyes....and don't forget your camera!!!!

Gosh...I really think we need to name this little girl before she bolts out the door on Thursday!!

Hi DGIF and/or Barb (if either of you happen to see this)...I have a request.....DGIF, when the ice/water bottle is rigged tomorrow, could you take a few minutes to wipe off the cam lens..I guess fluff (?) has become lodged in spider webs!!! I'd love a clear view when this little girl bolts out the door!!!

Good luck with your girl! While we don't like the pen, it is much easier to keep watch and we know the fledgling will be able to fly. That is a very dangerous place with two busy roadways right under the scrape. Tell Ray hello from me. I still have the hat.

Well, I'm happy with either name! SGB, I forwarded your cleaning request on to Steve. Boonie, what a beautiful hat you have as a memory :) I will say hi to Ray for you. Just as an fyi, tomorrow is a little iffy. There is a pretty good chance of thunderstorms. They will decide this afternoon, but the rain date is Friday.

Tomorrow is the day! I'm not sure, but I think about 8:30. Its only going to be 82 tomorrow, so hopefully they won't fill it all the way. I have a luncheon, so I may not be there for the actual fledge :(

I hope everything goes well for her release tomorrow (thunderstorms permitting), that she will fledge successfully and stay safe.
