I seen one falcon land on the far side on the roof of the univeristy bld,and one land on the point :smile:

In fact when I got back, I saw some moving and I started hitting the screen print button like crazy and it was the dang spider. :sunrolleyes:

Gee Whiz, the one night I wasn't home and LO appears. I have been on here every night for days now and nothing! It is SO exciting. Waiting for Jane's report. I hope He stays for an extended visit. Also His Mama and Papa will teach him how to keep cool these days! I hope.

OK, I'm back home and enjoying the AC, but just couldn't resist the temptation to spin downtown. When I got down there around 8:15 (91 degrees), NG was on the point and LO on the glass enclosure above the nest ledge. NG flew over toward the U Building around 8:30 and LO took off after her. He landed on the corner of the U Building roof on the 4th Street side, and can tell that those of you watching could see him. He didn't stay there real long. NG landed on the top of 333, but LO came and chased her off. The two of them disappeared behind 333 for a bit but then reappeared. At one point LO was back on the glass enclosure above the ledge, but can't remember when. NG landed over on the Market Street side of the U Building, and LO came back to the point. It was around 9 when I got in my car, and LO was still on the point then, but may have relocated to the stick. By then it was too dark to tell much of anything. Don't know where Lil Dad was, and it was too hot to check the louver ledges behind 333. Didn't see him on the steeple when I left, and don't know where NG went, either. That certainly made up for the lack of action on the last trip down there. Now for a much needed bath!

A BIG Thank You Jane for going down there on such a HOT night. Thanks for a great report of what was going on. Interesting how He has returned, but So glad He is well and surviving his first very big heat wave.

THANKS FOR THE REPORT JANE! WHAT A TROOPER TO GO OUT IN THE HEAT! SO GLAD YOU GOT TO SEE HIM. I GUESS LIL DAD DISAPPEARED AND TOLD NG SHE HAD TO TAKE CARE OF HIM SINCE SHE SPOILED HIM, LOL! I JUST CHECKED THE VIDEO TO SEE IF I COULD TELL WHO WAS ON THE STICK TONITE. THE VIDEO ACTUALLY SHOWED THEM LANDING AND I THINK IT WAS LIL ONE. HE DIDN'T MAKE A SOUND, BUT JUST BY THE WAY THEY LANDED AND THE OUTLINE, I THINK IT WAS HIM. GUESS HE FIGURED NOBODY ELSE WAS AROUND, SO HE MIGHT AS WELL STAY THERE. I GUESS HE'LL BE GONE BY MORNING WHEN I GET THERE, BUT I'LL BE LOOKING FOR HIM TOMORROW, THAT'S FOR SURE!

SORRY THE VIDEO IS STILL PROCESSING, AT LEAST I GOT IT AND IT WILL BE DONE SOMETIME :-)

Thanks for going downtown & giving us a report, Jane! It was still 87 degrees at 10:00 when we took hubby's truck to the garage, so it isn't cooling off much! You're a real trooper for being out in it instead of in the AC! :thumbegg:

Glad you got to see some action tonight! Wasn't White Boy here for a few days when he came back last year? If so, Reenie will probably get to see LO tomorrow--hope so! :clapegg:

Was NG acting like she wanted nothing to do with him? :sad:
