From the early morning archives...it appears another egg is in the process of collapsing...this is from around 5 am...Archer has been on the eggs all morning and I haven't seen a shift change in the archives to check the egg (s)

As Sad as all this is, I am glad it is finally gone. It can release them and who knows, maybe they will reclutch. Dayton has (and they even had chicks in the nest-which both disappeared). I guess today/tomorrow will tell us if it will really be another clutch. 2nd egg is due today..so, we'll see..

Aw.

Well, I guess, this has been a stressful year for them. And who knows how long Beauty and Unity have been at it.

I sure wish they had taken that egg and examined it to see what was up. I am sure there was something in first egg. But then what do I know :suncon:

That is great news Carly. :thumbegg: If it is becasue of contamination, they need to know that. It seems things are going a bit backwards again in nature. (because of fire retardants etc. )

they keep such good watch here.

It is so quiet. Not right.

I sure hope Beauty finds a good mate. Archer seems to have jumped ship to Unity.

YOu are right CArly. Miss Edmonton was first female with transmitter and first to hatch an egg.
She has had many successful nests.

I was going to ask about that but I had to go to work and forgot

I am happy to see Beauty is still coming to nest box. LIke our girl at columbus. I check Rochester forum daily for their updates. There were 2 there today. One in box and one outside.

It is not encouraging to hear ARcher is still 2 timing. He obviously cannot do it successfully.
