Oh that is so sad.....bless her heart.....no wonder she was having such a hard time...I was just so hoping it was the extreme heat and that she was just dehydrated....that sounds like a very scary disease, especially when they say it is everywhere....so very sad... :cryinggirl:

I am so very sad to hear of the loss of beautiful little Kate. I was very much hoping she would be okay. Aspergillosis can be extremely difficult to treat successfully. I wish the outcome could have been different.

I too am sad to learn that little Kate was sick and didn't survive. I can't remember ever hearing of a falcon dying with that disease. I don't want to look it up right now though , don't want to know the details. I hate to think that she suffered. I am sorry for her loss.
