Great videos of Red Girl, MA, and of CJ, Reenie. They make a great comparison since each of them is standing in the same place and you can get a good idea of their relative size.

Menu last week included pigeons, mourning doves, both cuckoos and a red-bellied woodpecker.

Glad you were able to get that nice video of CJ, Reenie. As Greg said, you can really compare the sizes of the two. Noticed that about 20 seconds or so from the end of the video that CJ also has that buffy tail band.

With all the activity focused on the scrape, it looks like Red Girl and CJ are more than ready for next year's brood!

Nice catch today, Kim. I was just thinking that it's good that the nest box is shallow. Otherwise with all the scraping going on, the scrape would be so deep by now that we'd lose sight of RG and CJ.

Checked in here a moment ago, and actually saw a falcon!! Not sure, but I think it was CJ, as I couldn't see any red tape. He was there for about a minute while I watched and then he took off. Not sure how long he was there before I tuned in. He was working that scrape again.

I saw someone in the box at least 5 different times today! The second screenshot here actually shows them bowing which I haven't seen in a long time! Well, you can't see much of CJ but you can see enough to know it's him. :)
