Spirit just caught a huge prey, I believe it's a juvenile ringed-bill gull...

(sorry for the camera ajustments at the beginning...!)

I haven't seen Altius for a long time - hope he's fine... but the three other young are doing very well!

I went to see Polly and Algo last week, it seems that they stopped incubating ... (their first clutch failed when the nest fell apart, then they tried in a second location but gave up...)
I saw both falcons and they seemed well! A lot of construction is going on in the area but they are really used to it, they did not seem bothered at all.

Thanks for posting the beautiful pictures of Polly. I am glad to see that she is ok but sorry that her nest attempts failed. I wonder if her handicap had anything to do with it. Well that nest didn't look great for chicks anyway. I hope that she has more success next year and that they get all the work done so that she and Algo can be undisturbed next year.
