First time I've looked at the web cam in a while, as it hadn't been working for me here. Was happy to see it's back on, but no falcons were in sight. An empty nest box is better than a black screen any day!

Pigeon and flicker feathers on the sidewalk today. Same two species but different individuals yesterday.

Black-billed cuckoo feathers in front of the Hotel on Monday and the beak of probably the same individual below the Brandywine Building Tuesday morning.

Thanks Greg. Always appreciate your findings. They are eating well! Wonder what people think if they find "bird parts" in front of the Hotel! LOL!

These are from this morning. They were both in the box in the second picture but you can only see one of them:

Great pictures, Kim. You've certainly got the magic touch for capturing one or both of the falcons at home.

Happened to notice how cleared off a circle right close to the camera is. Could they be working on that too or is the wind doing it?

Here are RG & CJ this morning (at least I think it's CJ)...
Image

I think this bird is an intruder who was in the box yesterday. It looks like the band on the right has tape over it that's coming off? What do you guys think? Also the band on the left leg looks like it has white on the top but I could be wrong.
Image

This guy has white on his shoulders and a white feather sticking out.
Image

This is CJ from a little later in the day. No white feather sticking out but that could have been easily preened away.
Image

It makes me wonder if it's the intruder who has been working on the other scrape that Faith noticed...

I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS AN INTRUDER OR NOT, BUT THE BAND WHERE IT LOOKS LIKE THE TAPE COMING OFF, ID SAY WAS THE CLASP THAT HOLDS THE BAND ON, IT'S JUST OVER TO THE SIDE INSTEAD OF IN THE BACK. COULD STILL BE AN INTRUDER, BUT I SURE HOPE IT WASN'T! HOW DARE ANY OTHER FALCON COME NOT ONLY INTO RG AND CJ'S SPACE, BUT IN THEIR NEST BOX?

Hey! I was looking through the pics on this page and the one near the top, who is supposed to be RG has a feather sticking out. Could that have been her? Check this page out.
