Oh so sorry about the little guy who fell to his death. Why are they out on that ledge so young? When I was watching the other night, I was wondering where the others were? Now I know. So helpless he was at that time. RIP little one.

Now for Zephyr!!! Holy crow, males aren't usually the ones who attack but Zephyr, WOW, he is one amazing tiercel! How could you not love that guy! Good luck South Bend with the fledges, I sincerely hope these 2 make it.

:egg16: I got the cam earlier today, but it is just black now. Didn't see anyone earlier, but I thought the chicks might have been in the corner close to the cam and therefore out of sight. I hope they haven't flown already.

Info about the cams and chicks from the South Bend Dept. of Information Technologies:


"Due to infrastructure upgrades, the cam has been intermittently broadcasting the last couple of days. Since the upgrades are complete, I believe it is down today due to the rain we received yesterday. Hopefully the connection will dry and it will be online soon.

"The 2 chicks have been very active this week and are starting to leave the nest."

I am disappointed that the cam is still down :( I didn't make it out there this past weekend, but I have an errand to run tomorrow or Friday that will take me there :)

Oh that is great please keep us updated on anything you see or hear this is awful that we don't know what is going on but that is the life of the internet on again off again really do love that we got to see as much as we did tho.
