This is wonderful news! Thank you for all the great pics, and the first views of the new male. He looks banded; I wonder who he is. KathyQ seems interested - can't wait to see what happens next.

Well, what do you know. . He IS banded .. I didn't even notice. .

Blown up blurry/distorted picture. . .but bands are clear!!! :sum10:

(as mud. .but they are there)

I won't get to watch much on Friday. . hope he makes it to the box!!!

From earlier today . . . Can't tell who's flying by, but may be the new guy. (KQ was in box watching at the time.) KathyQ has been in/out, in/out, in/out, a lot this morning.

Oh my goodness, a gentleman caller for KathyQ !! How exciting is this ?!! :hapdance:

I wonder if she has decided yet that he's the one. If not, his mere presence gives me hope that possibly another fabulous falcon will fly by before winter. He will have to be pretty special to gain KathyQ's full commitment and to hold the Indianapolis territory. I await news of co-flying, e-chupping, and box-bonding.

Whether or not this is our next Indy tiercel, I think KathyQ is already looking a lot more cheerful and chipper. Has anyone else noticed a change in her ?

I have not seen him myself, but am thrilled that others have. Earlier today it looked like KQ was bowing from the perch. Just wish Mr. Mystery would get in the box and lift up his pantaloons so we can see bands! Am I asking for too much....
Oh, I love her new decor. Think that feather should bring him in! :sunsmile:

You got some great pictures Alison.

If you are available, come downtown tomorrow morning. We'll have a scope aimed on the box [or wherever we need to point it!] We'll more than likely be in front of Chase or somewhere near at about 10 am!

Thanks, gigi! There's nothing I'd like better than to be in downtown Indy to see KathyQ and the new male. Unfortunately, I'm way out in western Canada.
