I am on the circle with the usual suspects and Mr. New Guy has been staying very close to KathyQ and the nest box without going in. When he is not perching nearby, he is trying to impress her with his soaring. We have a camera attached to a spotting scope and hope to make a positive ID. Will keep you posted.

Earlier, Kathy made a quick fly out

She's been close to home ever since. . in the box a lot. . at one point, she was in the box and he was flying up!! (missed the pic, but he was a blurry falcon about even with the nest box)

A few minutes ago. . Kathy, wondering when she lost a feather. .

Wow, she was busy in the box when we could not see her on the perch. I left shortly after noon and at that time Mr. New Man was doing fly-bys or sitting nearby. Duane had his camera attached to his scope and will share pictures later I suppose.

Have not heard from the watchers who were still there. He may be waiting for a little privacy from the ground crew before he makes his move into the box.

gigi, thanks for the "falconheads" pic (I'm guessing you had the honors of photographer!!)

I'm so glad you guys got to watch the two of them and cannot wait for him to make an appearance in the box (fingers crossed)

A little while ago

No sign of Mr. Dandy, yet. . .and no one is home now~maybe they are out and about, getting to know each other!!
