Yes, we can hear other birds on this cam. Probably the ones in the trees across the street. You can also hear people shouting down below. We've heard the watchers during fledge watch shouting to each other!

Thanks Jane for the report. I'm glad that you saw it in person. I was pretty certain that the 3rd falcon was on the ledge when I first looked at the cam. Well it seemed everybody was on the ledge but half the time I couldn't even see anything with 3 different camera views. The strange falcon was in a pretty panicked state and seemed to be looking for a way out, but I thought it even went into the scrape at one point. :eek:

I could only see wings coming by time and time again. I thought it was young and female, but I'm not the best eye witness, I was pretty panicked myself.

It did look like they were actually flying through the ledge space at one time. Some choice words were coming out of my mouth! And I see Niecey is now on the eggs and Lil Dad on the point.

WELL LJAMES, I JUST WATCHED THE VIDEO AND I DO BELIEVE THAT WAS A FEMALE INTRUDER WHO WAS IN THE FREAKIN SCRAPE! BELOW IS THE PICTURE AND I'M PROCESSING WHAT I GOT BEFORE THE CAM SHUT DOWN AND MY VIDEO WAS VERY CHOPPY AND OF COURSE SINCE THIS VIDEO IS ONLY A PART OF HOURS OF VIDEO, IT WON'T HAVE ANY SOUND. CHECK OUT THIS PICTURE, NO GREEN TAPE! IT WAS THE FALCON THAT WAS SITTING IN FRONT OF THE SCRAPE WHILE SOMEONE WAS DIVING AT IT AND THEN IT WENT INTO THE SCRAPE AND THEN FINALLY LEFT. I KINDA FEEL BAD, MAYBE SOMETHING HAPPENED TO HER EGGS AND SHE WANTED MORE........

Wow, that is some picture. I thought the other female I saw was over around the point, but it all happened so fast. It was totally unexpected, and I didn't know where to look.

LIL DAD JUST CAME BACK TO THE POINT. HE MUST HAVE BEEN EATING SINCE HE'S WIPING HIS BEAK ON THE POINT. TALKING SOME TO NIECEY TOO. SO GLAD THEY ARE BOTH HERE AND OK :-)

GLAD I WASN'T WATCHING WHEN ALL THAT STUFF WAS GOING ON TODAY, DON'T KNOW MY HEART COULD HAVE TAKEN IT.

Thought maybe Lil Dad was going to sleep on the point, but he left a minute or so ago. Had I not been down there, I'm not sure I would have realized what was going on.

Poor Niecey. She's like , you would not believe the day I've had. So scary to think that all could have been lost so quickly. If there had been a fight in the scrape, all the eggs could have been destroyed, or worse, Niecey or Lil' Dad could have been injured or possibly killed. Everything is so fragile. Oops Don't see Lil' Dad anymore on the point.

AFTER NIECEY GOT ON THE EGGS EARLIER AND LIL DAD WENT TO THE POINT, NIECEY SEEMS JUST A BIT NERVOUS I THOUGHT WHEN HE LEFT THE POINT. POOR THING, SHE HAS HAD ONE BIG DAY AND THANK GOD THEY ARE BOTH STILL HERE FOR US TO ENJOY :girlluv:

HOLY SMOKE!!! From day to day, you just don't know what will happen. Thank goodness all is well now. Jane and Sue thanks for eyes on reporting. ljames thanks for keeping an eye on things when it was all going on. I need to keep my laptop on more from now on. Spring cleaning has taken over my days. Want to get done soon before egg hatching.

Good heavens, what a day to not be watching. Doing some Spring cleaning here too and some furniture moving. I worried to see that there was an intruder in the scrape and am glad that the eggs were not harmed and that both Lil Dad and Niecey are okay too. I hope the intruder is well out of the area and does not return.

Thanks for enlarging the picture of yesterday's visitor, MA. I saw Lil Dad trying to cough up that pellet, and it's lying there on the point right now. Niecey has departed from the point, but I'm sure not far away.

KIND OF CURIOUS AS TO WHY LIL DAD MADE A POINT TO GO GET NIECEY AND THEN HE GOT BACK ON THE EGGS INSTEAD OF HER. I'M HOPING IT'S BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BE READY JUST INCASE THAT FEMALE COMES BACK. JUST HOPING NIECEY IS OK.
