DID LIL DAD GIVE NIECEY FOOD TO FEED THE BABIES BEFORE THE STORM AND SHE TOOK OFF WITH IT? I THINK SHE'S NOT LIKING HAVING TO FEED SO OFTEN LIKE LIL DAD WANTS HER TO.

THE FRONT ZOOM IS NICE, BUT WHEN IT WAS FOCUSED, IT WAS FOCUSED ON NIECEY. SO NOW WHEN WE SEE THE BABIES FROM THE FRONT, THEY ARE BLURRY :-(

Love the zoomed in view. Haven't seen it without Niecey there, but it will be nice to see the babies close-up.

Feeding starting now. Looks like Niecey is right & she doesn't have to feed them more often. They don't seem real interested in eating. Nice to see Little Bit right there in front of his mom! :flirty:

Little Bit really doesn't seem interested in eating. So far he's spent most of the feeding with his back to his mother.

Niecey has been here less than a year. She appeared shortly after NG was injured & disappeared.

Lil Dad has been here a number of years. Reenie, Jane or Sue know more about that, since they've been watching out for his babies for years. I'll let one of them answer that.

Lil Dad has been here since 2005. All the info on this nest is available under "About the Harrisburg Falcons. Very interesting.

Little Bit got almost all the food this time cause he was the only one with his head up! :flirty:

Nice to see the smallest get a lot of attention, compared to what we've been seeing at other nests.

Wasn't quick enough to get a capture, but that was Blue Jay they were eating. Very obvious when Niecey carried the remains away. :girlsad3:

Niecey has probably been there for a while. I personally haven't watched a feeding all day, but happy to read about the ones that have happened. Another story on ABC27 tonight about the falcons. :-)

But it was reported that the mom was observed feeding the chicks a mouse earlier today. I don't think so! And it is looking very stormy here.

Wow, just got back in and saw the new view. I like it and hope to see the feedings better. I'm so glad that you saw the little one getting fed a lot catwoman.

I am new at your nest site, but I too thought that one of the meals had 4 legs...my first thought was a frog not a mouse ....lol...when she took it out of the nest...but was told that they only go after birds...So, just thought I was going crosseyed watching today...
