I am deeply upset about 2 OR
I grew very attached to her last year an d was hoping when I saw her there this year, she would move on and be O.K.

hope the other chick does O.K.

So sad to know that 2OR was killed, but I guess it was they only way to insure a nest for VV, and now she ends up killing her own chick with the prey. My cam went down a little while ago but before it did, I saw VV pulling not one, but two prey items under her. :girlsad3:

she is learning from a master and we will be better for it

not unusual for a female to keep prey under her or clsoe by. remember Montreal. I guess maybe they fashion their nest site after what they know. so maybe her mom di d same thing.
