I can confirm that Spirit laid her first egg this morning! :eggthumbup:
From what we have seen in the past, Roger starts sitting on the eggs as soon as the first one is there. As of this morning, he had not spent more than a few minutes in the box. Spirit was inside the box all morning long after she had breakfast, Roger came to visit a few times but she did not want to come out. Around 12:40, she finally came out and Roger went in right away. He stayed inside for about 30 minutes. That is exactly the confirmation I was waiting for... :hapdance:

It is a later date than what we were used to see in 2010-11, but it corresponds more or less to the date from 2009.

This morning the first falcon got to see the telescope camera, and today Christopher Meyer was able to shoot two small heads watching the horizon in the nest of the UdeM. Is Spirit and Roger have only two offspring this year, or more? Time will tell ... Banding small is intended for Tuesday, June 4, no public meeting this year because unfortunately I'm still in Australia, but there will be pictures and we will do a survey to find their original names as in previous years .. .
