I caught a feed but I really couldn't tell how she was doing since she was out of view. Their little faces and necks are pretty dirty and I never saw the eye slits of the chick on the left. Kinda reminded me of what Orion looked like when DC was learning to feed last year (Rochester)...I hope she's getting enough in their little mouths..I sure hope Mitchell is being allowed to do some of the feeding..but, I doubt it.

They both seemed ok..

I can't get the cams either...and can barely get the control cam..

Glad you got those captures, SGB. I see Mitchell is watching. If he thinks they're not getting enough food, hopefully he can at least sneak some food in & feed them when she isn't there. I see that one capture shows her with her beak in a baby's beak, so hopefully its working out all right.

After numerous tries, I was barely able to get the control cam. But, its not really updating...Hopefully that will improve throughout the day and I can get some pics...

The other cam issue must be related to the Virginia Coast Reserve website. None of those cams are working.

Earlier today...I think it really must have been raining as mom came in really wet..

Anyway, these kids are a hot mess...I think they are getting enough to eat..really hard to tell since even the control cam wasn't refreshing well..

I was able to get the cam this morning...it was also broadcasting until about 8:30....and then it stopped..

I have a partial image this morning, but that partial image shows the chicks so I guess that's OK. Trying to get a good shot of both of them. They are both looking bright-eyed & bushy-tailed! :flirty:

Edit: I had to manually refresh & the cam isn't coming back. Guess I'll have to be satisfied that things look fine.

Got an even smaller screen from the cam & now the mother is covering the kids, so I'm just going to give up for now.
