Chase does the same thing with Radisson at end of season. He is about same age as DC. But he has proven to be a good mate and so this is just their style. Gord says at end of season they do not share food anymore. they work as an individual and I have seen Radisson actually hide food from chase.
We will never totally figure them out and that is O.K. :leafrock:

MAK and I were talking last night and she said DC acts real strange around Beauty-more like a juvie interacting with its parent vs a mate. He begs Beauty for food and steals it when he gets a chance-maybe just being opportunistic.

Looks like a lot has been happening while I was away. Will hope for the best

Cams are back and we have a new main cam!

Beauty was seen DT this AM by MAK and Pigott was seen by herself at BS this afternoon. Watchers then went DT to check on Beauty and see if they could see DC. Here's the tweets:

(grannywood): Close encounter is right!! I had no idea a RTH sat right behind me on a sign, when that falcon came off TS!!!!

That's short for Hawkeye-is/was a Kodak building near Rochester. It has a nestbox on it but nobody has ever used it as a nest site. Beauty has been seen there a few times and I think maybe Mariah was seen there too. This juvie is Billy, a 2013 hatch from Central Terminal in Buffalo and she's the offspring of Gleig (Pigott's sister) and Diamante (offspring of Mariah and Kaver). She's been hanging around the area north of the city and the Lake Ontario waterfront... was discovered a few weeks ago by watchers.
