BOY IS IT EVER RAINING! No Mitchell in the shelter area, not even his tail sticking out behind it......

It is...very few above ground areas on Cobb Island...few places to go...it is fascinating, as long as this ends peacefully....

I think so...I'm just looking at my footage...Eve actually looked like she was Bowing...could Ms I have been a large Mr. I?

Me Too, Tsusan...

OK..these pics are lousy, for obvious reasons...and the first few make no sense..hard to see how many birds are involved...but, then Eve's posture was puzzling and interesting...

in the first few, I thought that Eve was coming out and the fight started...I really don't know what we are seeing here..

Then I discovered that Eve was actually still in there..and both bird's posture changed..

Intruder leaves..and Eve finally comes out..

Who knows....maybe the intruder was, in fact, a large male...of course, its still a mystery as all this started with the intruder outside the igloo and Mitchell inside...guess we'll never know...I hope...

I've been watching your posts this afternoon to see what was happening. My impression (& its just an impression) is that maybe this is Eve's mom. Must be older cause she looks older than Eve.

I wonder if the confusing captures SGB got earlier could have been some big gusts of wind came up & she was trying to keep her balance cause it looks like once Ms. I got inside, she was OK. The bowing is a greeting & the lower the falcon bows, the lower they are in the hierarchy. So if that's Eve's mom, that explains why Eve is bowing low (I would think).

Ms. I is still there & it looks like she's having trouble keeping from getting blown away! :girlcrazy:
