I'd say that's Eve too. She has the speckled breast where Mitchell's is totally white. The intruder also has a white breast. Glad the cam is back. It seems whenever something important is happening at a nest the cams act up. (Same thing happened in Harrisburg when Red Girl was still around--we don't even know when she actually left.) Oh well, this is to be expected with this cam when they through an extended cloudy period.

Cam is back, but no one home... At times it seems that it is not live, but it is refreshing at irregular intervals...

Hello - Just me again, watching as evidently someone is working on the cam... It is pulled "all the way" in, now, all you can see is the nest box. But the time marker is advancing, so things are moving along. The links on page one still do not take you anywhere, but the "click to stream" link near the top of page 61 does to get the cam.

This close up cam is giving us some really beautiful looks at Mitchell. He's had quite a weekend, and maybe its just me, but does he look a bit tired? Yet he is being so watchful just now - turning his head back and forth and sometimes stretching his neck... NO preening... Hopefully Eve is ok too...
PS Thanks, Beth - the llink says Oct. 15th - so we will need to use the link on pg 61 until then?

YIKES! Whats going on with the cam lens? It was clearer yesterday.... I can barely make out Mitchell moving around in the igloo... I haven't seen Eve since the intrusion by the mystery guest...

Ahhh- this is better on a couple different levels.. The cam has been pulled back, so that its easier to see Mitchell - cam lens may be less blotchy too. Also Mitchell is a little more relaxed - this morning he was virtually motionless, standing just inside the igloo. Now he has stepped out into the sunshine, and is preening a bit. Still got to wonder where Eve is....

Tsusan, that's me playing around with the cam...I think there must be a LOT of moisture inside the protective lens cover. No telling how long it will take for it to clear up. Next to impossible for me to focus past all the condensation...boo...

I've been keeping an eye on the cam today...and you're right, no sign of Eve so far...but, I do think that was her in the pic I took the other day on top of the cabinet that houses some of the cam stuff...

Hi SGB! So I wonder where Eve is? Since "mom" came for a visit, did Eve decide to go to mom and dad's igloo for a visit over the weekend? Another thought I had (and I don't know if the coastal falcons do) but surely Eve has not migrated for the winter? I was thinking how Mitchell looked lonely, and that reminded me of Hoffman up north, and how he and Indy Froona keep each other company over the winter... (yes I know Im letting my imagination go too far...)

Tsusan, the Cobb falcons do not migrate. Having said that, since this is Eve's first year with us, I have no clue what her Fall/Winter habits and patterns will be. Hopefully we'll find out soon!!! :pumpgrin:

Mitchell was on cam for a lot of the time today!!! I'm glad the cam is working, but its like looking through petroleum jelly!!! LOL It inspired me to go clean windows....

Hi SGB - Are you there with the cam? I am trying to figure out what I am seeing - other than the fact that no falcons are there just now... I see the whitish igloo, on the brownish platform. Behind the brown platform I see a light-colored, almost white area. Is that the platform, lit up with sunlight? Then behind that is some orangey tan color - is that the marsh, the tide has gone out? I cant really make out any ocean, and I know its usually there? And at least the sky is clearing a bit....
