Thanks for the information Hans. As soon as I saw the pictures, I said to myself, oh my gosh, I bet that's where Jetta and Perkeo live. Funny, the juvies hang out at the other church. You're a lucky man hans to live in such a beautiful place, of course, there are no ugly places in Germany. :)

How fun to see those photos and learn of where the falcons nest and hang out! Thanks, Hans-Martin, for giving us a perspective of where things are located. Beautiful city.

In the last shot, the falcon is flying away. Can you see her/him? :balloon

People living near Holy-Spirit-church phone me: This morning a lot of screaming & flying around the steeple and JETTA & PERKEO are mating/copulating every half an hour on the cross-bars on the very top!
Sorry, no lifestream from there... 8-)
Hans-Martin

Do the people near the church like the falcons?

Yes, of course most neighbours -except pigeon-fanciers - around Heiliggeistkirche are very fond of the resident pair! They phone me when they watch or listen something special up in the air. This is important because every other year one or two of the fledglings happen to land on the ground after their first flight instead of landing on the roofs of the houses! Surrounding streets are very tight, so the grounded falcons hesitate to take another start and are threatened to be run over by a car or bitten by a dog. So passengers or police call me to give the fledglings another lift. This happened with HAZECHA last year, I put her in a card-box, took her 260 steps up into the steeple and put her back into the nesting-box

That is wonderful that most of the people are fond of the falcons and help you by calling when something is wrong. Is that you and HAZECHA in the photo? What a handsome pair!

I can't get the webcams to play anymore. Not in IE nor in Firefox. Tried severals times this afternoon, but no luck. Even waited ten minutes for the cam to load but that didn't help either.

Yes, yesterday afternoon - our time - we once more had no pictures from the cams.I regret that often the change of the flow (cameras`-datas) to the server which transmits those datas into "videostream" breaks down. People in our local city-administration where the datas from the cams are collected always try to restart this change of datas-formats. But they leave office at 16.00 pm local time.
:(

Yes , the old guy next to young beauty HAZECHA is me.

Hans-Martin

Hans-Martin - I love the picture of you with HAZECHA! Thanks for posting it and letting us know how nice the people are there, letting you know when falcons are spotted or juveniles are in trouble.

Hans-Martin

PS. Happy that the three cams are transmitted since two days without interruption... :loveshow:
