my cams are up but we are on egg watch at U of A I am out the door to church

that Chase. I was sure we would have an egg by now, but I guess he wants to make sure
their canoodles are on Maz usually so nice and close to hear them . Jean can hear them from her window LOL

And Carly was right, Green Girl looks just like Radisson!

they have canoodled so much today, an egg should pop right out

Ok, no more worrying about our birds.
We have 2 nests with couples.
And what ever happens at the Bell is any can guess. With all the construction going down next to the Bell. Would you want to live there?
We will miss Bev's Miss Edmonton, for she has shown Bev and Peter that we can never guess the outcome of any nest. And with that wisdom Bev, will pass it on to the rest of us that watch and help out.

Note to Bev
Today, Mike saw something flying at the corner of Stony Plain and Anthony Henday at the nest up high. So, I drove around and parked on the up ramp of the north bound AH. And yes there is a big bird in the nest. But, I think it is a osprey. So, now I had to go and check out the other nest on the west side of AH and Mike was looking at the nest with the b... and finally something moved, I saw it to with the naked eye. So, I looked with the b.... and what did I find in the nest .........but a female Canada Goose.
So, much for me seeing my first bald eagle.....lol

yes, there is an osprey nest there.

So happy to see Chase and Radisson are back at the UofA. I usually have 3 cams up behind whatever I'm working at work: 2 Osprey nests in Montana and the UofA peregrines. I quite often have either Harriet or Iris (osprey) calling for fish delivery from their respective males, but every now and again, I hear something very NOT osprey-like and know that one or the other of our peregrines are back in the nextbox at the UofA. Must say that it's making me very happy!

Am also delighted to hear that Green Girl is at Weber even though I totally understand your bittersweet feelings over this development, Bev. I know you'll miss Miss E this year.

I was just thinking Green Girl was my first fledge. And she is the one that made me run around the college plaza looking for her, then had to go through the hospital looking for your phone number, then a phone, because I left my money in truck . When all Jean had to do was look out the balcony and see her down below. Remember that was Peter's first morning to sleep in.....and I lost the bird LOL thinking about that day

yup, she is quite the gal. So happy she thrived .

It was hard to tell but tell tale poop shot first and she barely lifted tail but last little lift was at and then a few shivers. sh e showed the egg at (11:27rewind )
