    This morning the peregrines had another intruder investigate their territory. The male, taking his turn to incubate the 4 eggs, spots an unknown peregrine and raises the alarm. he leaves to join his mate and together they see it off. A few tense minutes later, with the job done, he returns to the nest and covers the eggs, talking to them reassuringly all the time. All part of the trials and tribulations of life as a wild peregrine.

Da-dada-daaaaah! Hear this people. We have not just one but TWO chicks to Norwich Cathedral this morning. Both hatched overnight but we did not get to see them until 0530. All looks good and they have even been fed. Videos and more to come soon but here is the image of the first time 'dad' gets to see his offspring after 'mum' goes off for a quick bit of breakfast :
