IF YOU DIDN'T SEE JANE'S REPORT FROM LAST NIGHT, HERE IS IT. HAPPY JUNE EVERYONE!

Got home about ten minutes ago. Up until this afternoon the most exciting thing was seeing Niecey grag some prey from the stash behind 333 and she ended up dropping it in the middle of Market Street. It was a Yellow-billed Cuckoo. None of were exactly sure where Blue got to and spent a good hour and a half until she was FINALLY located in a spot on the building where it's REALLY hard for escape. She was examined and just fine, so released on the building roof in the shade of a huge air conditioning unit. She made her way to the 4th Street side of the building and then to the front. A storm came rolling through around 6:00, and she got pretty wet. The skies cleared afterwards, and she made her way to this chimney corner on the front of the building. She did some flapping and looked like she was going to try something, but she didn't. She should be fine there for the night, but probably is going to get rained on again. We stayed to watch her until it was dark enough that we figured she was going to stay put. I hear distant thunder hear at the moment.

COULDN'T SWITCH OVER QUICK ENOUGH, BUT LOOKS LIKE THERE WAS A FOOD DROP. BOTH BEHIND THE SHIELD AND ONE MANTLING.

NIECEY JUST BROUGHT IN MORE FOOD. GUESS THEY DON'T WANT THEM GOING ANYWHERE TODAY :-)

I'm back home for a while now. Blue was still on the roof, but had worked her way over to the right side of the building above the ledge. Not sure what time, but a food delivery was made to Red and White on the ledge. Not too long afterwards Niecey brought food to Blue and she was really chowing down on it. Shortly before I left both Niecey and Lil Dad were flying above Blue encouraging her to fly off the roof. Am seeing White up on the shield right now. Am going to be turning this off very shortly and get some much needed sleep.

Oh my, White Girl on the shield is too cute, but did she fall off or jump off? :egglaugh:

I'm hearing this noise I can't identify, like a jackhammer. Very annoying. Both girls are just hanging out, one in the scrape and one on the stick, on the ledge part.

Parent just flew up to the cam, girls screaming gave me a clue to look.

Lil' Dad landed on the ledge and moved to the stick and now on the point.

Saw someone fly upwards near point. It was so quick as cam changing point of view, but looked more brownish. Was it Bluegirl???

Just woke up from a GOOD three hour nap. Am seeing White preening on the shield and Red lounging by the stick. Don't know anything about Blue right now. That noise that can be heard via the cam is coming from this little driveway that encircles the church across the street. Looked like some sort of repair project to that driveway. It is very humid again today, but somewhat cooler than yesterday.

Food must have come in. When I tuned in they were fighting over the food. :eggroll:

I didn't see it happen, but there was a food drop on the ledge about five minutes ago. Red and White are working on it behind the orange post. Looked like Red was defeathering the thing at first, but now it looks like White eating most of it. Saw an adult fly past and most likely went to the building roof.

Boy, they have been in rare form for the last 10 minutes or so, screaming, running, jumping, flapping, I thought for sure somebody was going over. And think there is some wind too. Could see flying out there so I guess parents are encouraging them to go. I thought they must be starving to death, but I see somebody reported a food drop.

Ok, finally looks like they are going to take a break as they have both settled down by the stick. I know the watchers want them to go ahead and get their first flight under their belt so they can rest a little (in mind) knowing they can do it and are ok. Well, they will go soon enough. I'm off to do some errands but will return shortly.

They look like they are sleeping now, just wore themselves out., I guess.

Pouring rain here. Probably be in Harrisburg shortly. Headed that way. 7 miles away.
