I think Pru is right about this being the same female that's been hanging the nest box.And it sure looks like she had a good meal today ;) Also it looks very windy there today :)

Ooooh ... now I see Knorrie's pics - for some reason they weren't showing before - OK ... that's Havoc with the new female - looks to me like "ee-chupping" or "bonding" - he did this with her about a week ago too & she has been staying at the box ever since :?

They are behaving so strangely. You would think that it is spring with the bonding and hanging out at the nest all night. But I guess this is normal behaviour if this is a new mate. She is a such a pretty falcon, but not that much bigger than Havoc. I wonder where she came from or how old she is, but with no bands no way to know. I have yet to hear anything back from Alcoa. :rage
Thanks for the pictures.

Yes well observed SGB - the sun is definitely way higher in our sky right now than what is showing on the Alcoa cam - it's 9.20 am Monday morning here & that pic looks like about 6.30 am - it was dark when I first woke up & checked the cam so the Sunday gremlins are sleeping late & getting to work on Monday now
